Hi guys
I replaced the rubber door seals on my '64 C10 and now the doors won't shut! I've adjusted the striker plate as far out as it will go but it still takes a huge slam to get them to catch. I guess they will settle down over time but anything I can try?

Thanks, Limey

I'd imagine they will settle over time. In the mean time, I wonder if shimming the door hinges a little might help to even things up a bit with the striker?

I did the same thing a couple of months back.

I noticed a huge difference, but it takes a while.
