I have gone to several wheel shops and the look at me cross-eyed when I tell them it is '52 chevy 6 bolt pattern. From memory I think six lug wheels from a Toyota Landcruiser or Nissan Patrol will fit fine on the Chev six lugs.

I would think that later models would have the same if they were six bolt pattern. Couldn't you also take one of the Chev wheels in and get them to see which rims had the same spacing?

A Chevy LUV wheel will fit a stovebolt, ditto for a Toyota Land Cruiser, etc. Some of the early Chevy Blazers had 6-lug axles, also. It sounds like you need to switch wheel shops!
