What's a good way to re-polish the Brass without making a mess on my clean engine?
Could I clearcoat the brass after polishing?

#18114 02/26/2004 4:19 AM | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 343 Member | | Member Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 343 | Eastwood makes a high temp clear coat called "Diamond Clear" and they say it is "Gloss Clear For Bare Metal Surfaces and is Fuel Resistant, Heat resistant to 350F, and Non-Yellowing Formulation" This may do the job. I purchased this Diamond Clear to coat my Offenhauser Intake manifold after I bead blast it, but I have not done it yet, so I do not know just how well it is going to hold up.
