I just posted a topic a few days ago but I'm still not sure what to get. I need a radiator for 1966 chevy pickup and have no idea what will work. I will have an automatic transmission. I have posted a link below. Could someone check it out and see if this is what I need. If you select chevy then radiator then 1966 then c10 then 327 it will take you to the radiators I am looking at. Do I need the three row? Sorry if this is too much trouble

I check out the website you showed. It shows 2 radiators to fit your C-10 with 327. Both say they can be used with automatic or manual transmissions. Not sure why the difference in sizes. Do you not have the original to measure up? Usually 3 cores are considered to be heavy duty, good for towing, AC, ect.... Most radiators anymore come with fittings for various combinations of things and you remove the plugs that you need for your situation. Maybe another Bolter can enlighten us further.

One of the radiators listed is a downflow radiator the Modine part number is 1R284 which should be correct for your truck. The radiator has tanks on the top and bottom not on the sides. That part number is a three row core. It is a good time to replace the rubber pads that hold the radiator in place.

Thanks so much. I don't have the original radiator because I am piecing it together piece by piece and it didn't have one when I bought the truck. Thanks again. If someone else checks this out and has anything to add then please do. Thanks again folks your help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, Modine is a major aftermarket radiator manufacturer. Their part numbers are sort of an industry standard. Because you do not have a radiator in the truck you should take some measurments. The Radiator Express site has the core size and if you call them they can provide the overall height and width. If you need more help or info let me know.
