I remove the hood spring supports from hood (not cab) and lay them on linner fender out of the way, adjust hood to fit at cowl and fenders, reattach those supports and now the cowl fit has large uneven (from dirvers side to passenger side) gap too high and too far forward. Is this corrected by new support springs or by enlarging the hinge plate mounting surface holes? | | | | | Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 142 Member | | Member Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 142 | I posted awhile back about the brace on the rear of the hood itself ,in the rear ,loosen the four screws on the plate in the center rear and see if it helps from side to side. | | |
