ive got a 55 2nd series 3100. i have found a 58 cab and plan to change cabs (mine is all rusted out). does anyone know if this is possible, and if so what the best way to approach this is. thanks for your help, it's invaluable.
clark | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the only thing that's important is the the 58 mounts the hood hinges a bit different, so you'll hafta fiddle the hinge mounting slots of the 55-7 hood to fit the earlier hood right on the 58 cab - also the 58/9 cab had a slightly different firewall to accept the different throttle linkage for a v8 - otherwise they're the same
