Well i now am the proud owner of a 1940 1/2 ton chevy short bed. will 22k miles original and i have the original title also and am also the 4th owner of the truck. The truck was in awsome condition when i got it and now have it torn all down and am starting the rebuild prossess on it. well i got the truck from a guy who just wanted to get rid of it so now she is my baby.

Three owners put on 7K miles each in 64 years? That is a little more than 300 miles per year?
Sounds like a great truck, but could the odo have been around once?

Wow Justin, even if the odo has rolled around once or ten times, that's a nice score. I'm jealous as that's what I'd like to work on next, late 30's - early 40's.
