making cab mounts isn't all that big a job. better measure front axle width. get it all mounted up, and power steering, maybe a/c, and possible bigger mill makes the deal pretty attractive.
ya might consider this. if yer no good at fabrication of steel, then go find a pro, and watch carefully what he does. a good job always works better and has few problems. nothing is more of an unsafe pain in the backside than a hacked up, done part right job. a fella could get killed!
i wouldn't be afraid of doing it, as long as yer intent on doin' it right!
