I've got my steering column from my 77 GMC 1/2 ton and was wondering if it would fit in my 49 GMC 1/2 ton? What type of modes will I have to do, and is there a kit I can by to hook up the tranny linkage? Thanks.

He cut the shaft on the stock box about two inches from the box and used a borgenson U-joint to connect to the new column, It was a nice looking job. old navy 51.............. | | |
