Hey guys, it's been awhile. The firewall, engine and tranny were just painted.

She's powered by a 454 with a turbo 350 tranny, headers, flowmasters and side exhaust.

I can't wait for her to be ready!

Steve

Recoil,

I noticed that you put in electric windows. Did you have many problems mounting them? It looks like to had to cut the lower door. How do they mount on your truck?

More work has been done on the engine (see the link above for pics).

I also took some shots of how the power windows look. I have a hot rod shop building her up so I'm not sure about everything they did.

The original owner really hacked up the doors to get the windows in there. I had my guys replace the motors with new ones.

The cab is chopped. I think it looks more aggressive that way. I have door poppers since everything is shaved.

I believe it's "channeled" as well. Although I'm not quite sure what that means (hahaha). I'm new to the hot rod world.

The old hood had a ton of bondo on it -- so I got ahold of a hood in perfection condition. We're making it one piece and putting 80s style Camaro scoops into it (small ones). This was on the original hod rodded hood and I really like it.

I can't till she's done. Hopefully it will be a few more months. I'll keep sending weekly updates as long as they keep working on her.

Hey guys,

I posted some more pictures. She's really coming along.

Rhino'd under the wheel wells.
Installed radiator housing (was formerly wood)
Installed the front on for mock-up (all the engine compartment will be red)

Here are the pics:
