I have a 46 Chevy 1.5 ton with a 235 and a Rochester Carb.
My question is where or how do you hook up the throttle linkage?
The choke was easy but am scratching my head on the throttle.
A real live picture would be most helpful.

This was discussed a while back and some good pictures were provided. Do a search and you should be able to find it. If you can't find it I can take some pictures of mine for you.

Too bad all the info in the lounge is lost. It may have been discussed in there.

WHAT LOUNGE???
frown frown

The cable should hook to the side of the throttle linkage where the throttle plate is, near the bottom of the carb,,, not the choke at the top of the carb...

I just took my rochester off my 216, I have pics of the linkage if you want them. PM me and I can e-mail them tommorrow. (they are not the best pics in the world, just good enough for me to see what I took off.
