Those little decals that go on the grill sure are a pain in the butt, but they really make it stand out. He ordered it for his '63 back in the early '70's but never put it on and sold the truck and forgot to give it to the man who bought his truck. It had been in his barn all these years. $100 bill brought it home. I couldn't get to my wallett fast enough. Even a blind squirrell will find a nut every now and then! LOL!

My grandpa had an 81 and I do as well. He had just bought 4 new rally wheels back in the 80's for it, but it was wrecked. My wife wants me to take the grill back off and put it back in the box and squirrell it away in the attic of the shop. Who knows maybe in 20 yrs. a grill like that might bring a grand or so. I am a little scared to drive it now, I know I couldn't replace that grill, well not with another NOS anyway. I told her it was meant to be seen not be put up in a box hidden away and if I'm unfortunate enough to get hit or hit someone else then so be it. At least I will have enjoyed it while I'm alive and still have it. It's kind of like these "trailer queen" cars and trucks, what's the point? They were meant to be driven.
