I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THERE IS A ROLLER BEARING THAT REPLACES THE OLD BALL BEARING FOR THE FRONT AXLE SPINDLE OF A 57 CHEVY 1/2 TON. ALSO IF
THERE IS A 5 HOLE HUB THAT FITS ON THE SAME SPINDLE
AS THE 6 HOLE DOES WITH ROLLER BEARING. THANKS FOR ALL REPLYS.

the earlier Chev car 5 bolt hub and drum [say about 50-57?] will fit the 5-9 ½T spindle - there apparently is a roller that'll fit too, but if ya do a search of the forums here I think you'll find the general opinion in previous discussions was: why bother? the ball's do the job quite well, and have for 50 years, providing you don't overtighten the spindle nut and keep'em greased, and the rollers don't always fit the worn spindles mosta these trucks have - D&D Antique Auto useta list replacement rollers for most old GM applications, tho not on the website now

maybe somebody has used the rollers since those discussions? wanna relate the experience?
