I have completed the interior work on my '66 C-10, however I do not have the original jack, jack handle and lug wrench provided by GM. I have the jack mount, springs and keepers that are installed under the driver's seat. I would like to locate a source for new equipment. If not, looks like I may be visiting the local salvage.

Thanks for your assistance.

Saw one of these set-ups on Ebay last week but don't know if it is still there. Jack, crank handle, and lug wrench. Might wanna do a search.

If you just want it for originality thats fine but I had a 69 chevy half ton and the jack would'nt fit under the back axle if the tire was flat. I bought a one ton jack that has worked fine on every thing I have used it on for many years.

Tony,

Golden State Parts in Carson City, NV. sells the correct 1947-72 Chevy truck jack handle (part #17-156) for $37.95 and tire iron [lug wrench] (part #17-T15) for $14.95.

Here is their website: http://www.golden-state-parts.com/

You might check eBay for the actual correct jack.

Good luck with your project!

Jim:

Thanks for the info. I am able to find the jack handle and the lug wrench. My difficulty is finding the original jack. I'll keep hunting.

Keep on trucking.

It wouldn't fit under the lower A on the front, either. Meant that if you really had a flat you better have a couple of 2x4 blocks handy. Jack where you can, block it up and jack some more.

Fellow Bolters:

I broke down and purchased a new jack handle and lug wrench from Golden State. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for a jack. That will make my interior project complete. Thanks again for the input.
