For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | I have completed the interior work on my '66 C-10, however I do not have the original jack, jack handle and lug wrench provided by GM. I have the jack mount, springs and keepers that are installed under the driver's seat. I would like to locate a source for new equipment. If not, looks like I may be visiting the local salvage.
Thanks for your assistance.

I never had any joy finding any of that stuff at my local yards.

I bought a one ton jack that has worked fine on every thing I have used it on for many years.

Here is their website: http://www.golden-state-parts.com/ You might check eBay for the actual correct jack. Thanks for the info. I am able to find the jack handle and the lug wrench. My difficulty is finding the original jack. I'll keep hunting.

Meant that if you really had a flat you better have a couple of 2x4 blocks handy. Jack where you can, block it up and jack some more.

I broke down and purchased a new jack handle and lug wrench from Golden State. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for a jack. That will make my interior project complete. Thanks again for the input. | | |
