Hey bolters... Just got back from a "parts chasin' roadtrip" to the West coast... Picked up a 61 hood sold to me by a fellow bolter, and a complete front clip from another bolter...
(names remain confindential out of respect for anonyminity)
Wasn't able to meet the gent who had the hood, but I did meet the gent who lives in NIRVANA...

...gotta love those computer "GLITCHES" yeah right...
As I was saying... I found a gent who lives in a place that is both beautiful and secluded enough to do as he pleases... WALL TO WALL with great old trucks, cars AND A GREAT PLACE TO WORK...
My girlfriend went giddy with desire eek , but not about me grin ... Looked around, picked up bits and pieces, but then had to leave to start the 2800 mile drive home....
Met a real great guy, got some much needed, EXCELLENT quality parts... and had a good time...
Wished I could've stayed longer...
Now all I have to do is need some more stuff and go back out there....
In digression, let me say this... US rt 50 "IS" the 'the loneliest road in America'... especially at night, during a snow storm, running out of gas and the only place to stop consisted of a combo bar/roadhouse, campground and gas station, with only one pump that the cahier had to figure out of hand, occupied by 5 old grizzled veterans of the gold rush days...
