Hello all, This is only the second time I have posted a message. I finally got my one ton running on the new home made gas tank. It runs fine. Made the tank out of a water pressure tank. I am now trying to get the brake lines loose from the master cylinder so I can rebuild it. While I was working on the gas problem I discovered a bad leak in the brakes. Using lots of PB Blaster and being patient. Got one line loose yesterday. I dont want to twist the fitting off.I am 65 years old so I worked on a lot of this stuff when I was a kid. Fifty years of rust takes time. Trucks and men both.

Sounds like you found that brake leak via the preferred method (as opposed to the "while driving" method which is generally to be avoided... )
