Im having trouble figuring out how to disconect the column from the steering box. any ideas? Geo.

gelee - I think that your column is like my 46. It is not supposed to come off the steering box. The whole thing comes out as a unit. You'll need to remove the pitman arm, unbolt the steering box from the frame and remove through the cab.

46 is right
The two boxes are simular except that 46's got bearings and 40
has bushes I think.....it's been soooooooo long
