Well folks, it's a whole new ball game. Just bought a
\'54 GMC 100 and have LOTS of questions on the fix 'em up. Just call me a blind, stupid newbie!
A buddy says that I can replace the leaking main seal with a rope gasket, pulling the cover from underneath and fishing it around rather than having to remove the engine and pull the cam. Sounded too good to be true, but tell me more--is it so?!!?
