Well, it's sunny and 45 here in Oregon. I just got home from 2 weeks in the NE. I had a chance to drop in on Tony P. in Webster and he showed me his nice little collection of trucks and he had his BSA stashed in the house. We headed over to the machine shop and picked up (literally) his 302 and hauled it back to his basement. I say picked up because we walked the bare block, head, and crank down the stairs by hand. It's a nice looking piece, and the pistons are a work of art. I'm a little jealous! It's too bad we didn't get any pictures but we had a good visit. Thanks Tony!

I got caught up in the storm on the way back, our flight through Dallas got cancelled and we got sent to Chicago. After a 6 hour wait we took off and the front landing gear wouldn't retract, so we had to circle for a while an burn off enough fuel so we could land safely. A little stressful, and all the crash trucks were waiting for us and followed us in. We probably caused a few delays. Fortunately the airline had a spare plane so we took off again. We made it back to Portland about 8 hours late, but we made it.

I had a great time bombing around NY in a rented Escape. Driving in Manhattan is crazy. We got to see some good sights, eat some good food, and have good company anyway.

As a bolter and a former Beezer rider, I think he ought to put the 302 IN the BSA grin

Oh, hey, Boo, I didn't realize that you were that close to me, drop me an email and we can get together after the holiday buzz dies down.
