Hiyas. I am in search of a few images for use in the 60-66 trucks buyers guide that is here on the stovebolt page in the tech tips section.

http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/buyers_guide_60_66.htm

Above is the link to the buyer's guide for 60-66 trucks(I doubt it'll ever be 'finished').

On the page you can see there is an example of the fleetside tail light & reverse light.

However there is no image of a stepside tail light... SO! I need a few examples of the stepside tail light. I think it was the same shape 60-66? They came painted black or in chrome, correct?

The guide could also use some images of the types of mirrors that were original, the round ones, the rectangle ones, and the big side honkin' mirrors... even a shot of the original type rear view mirror(s).

A few shots of the various type of AC controls would be good.

Original radio plate images with or without radio... so people will know 'hey that's been changed'.

Anyway, if ya'll have some pictures laying around of the above things or other things you think is important that would be neat to see in the buyer's guide on your hard drives post them here or email them to me at:

Suburbans and Panels came in only 1/2-ton versions, either with tail gates or barn doors.

I like the idea! I don't have anything out of the ordinary regarding mirrors, taillights etc. The purpose of my post is to get any tech articles or detailed photos of the dealer option installation of the factory A/C setup for a '66, C-10. The interior dash photo is superb, however I am in need of correct equipment, location and configuration of this setup. I have, what I believe to be the complete setup, minus the compressor and mounting hardware and I am ready to tackle the installation in time for hot, humid summer in Kansas City. Any info would be helpful.

I just finished installing power steering, power brakes and ceramic coated headers on my '66, C-10 with a factory 327cid/420 Muncie granny low 4-speed. Just need the tech support for the A/C. Thanks and keep on truckin Stovebolt style.

If you look hard at your firewall in the heater area you will see dimples there for the A/C holes that must be cut. Big rectangle for the recirc door, smaller ones for the hoses etc. You need a 64-65-66 accessory installation manual, it outlines the procedure. I have it & could make copies for you if you like. PM me if you have any questions. Brian
