Hope this is an easy question! I've got a '64-66 C-10 cab I'm stripping down and want to remove the dash. I've got the two bolts removed from each end, but I can't find any other fasteners and the dash certainly isn't ready to come out as far as I can tell. I've been through the whole factory assembly manual and can't find any information there. I saw a '64-66 dash for sale on eBay several weeks ago, so I know there's some way to get it out. Any help?

Never mind, I think -- just got an email from the guy who was selling the dash on eBay and it turns out he had to cut the dash out with a cutoff wheel. Thanks anyway!

You've got to cut it out; it's spot welded along the top of the firewall.

I think they put the bolts there to tease you......I thought of doing the same thing.

Yep, that's what I figured out. Oh, well. Maybe leaving the dash in will make it that much more of a deal if I can find someone who wants the whole cab for free (see my other recent post in this forum.) smile
