have any one you ordered parts from the truck shop in orange, california and if so were you satisfied with the product and service?

I got an order from them a few days ago with no trouble. I have used most of the major vendors (american classic, chevy duty, chev's of the 40's)and never had any trouble with any of them. The truck shop seams to be a little cheaper and closer to me.

I have been happy with not only the parts and people but also the prices at Truck Shop. In fact I have never had anything negative happen with any of the parts suppliers. They live and die by customer service so they do whatever they can to have a happy customer.

Hey guys.. I haven't heard of the Truck Shop in Orange. Is this an mail order, online or a store front? Orange Ca. is close and if it is a store front I may be interested in taking a drive.
Otherwise How do you get there???

i had a little time on my hands so i took several of the catalogs and compared prices on about 40 different items. they are cheaper on most of the items that i compared. i ran onto their website on one of the links. i believe it is just www.truckandcarshop.com. living in texas i would have to check out the shipping and handeling but like i said they appear to be cheaper than the other "major" shops.

Used them once myself and they were quick with shipping and did cost less.

I looked at thier catalog. Thought about the disc brake kit $850 then saw, ADD 25% shipping to AK. You do the math, OUCH! That's a lot of beer! They will ship it to an East coast bolter for $32.00

darn! Another place thats sells only 47+. I know the AD's are more common than the older stuff but it's frustrating for us Pre-Advance Design folks.

B G, do you shop Chevs of the 40s ? I like them, fair prices and the are fast and friendly. They ship to me Priorty Mail and no extra charges.

Truck shop is ok but you may want to ask a few questions when ordering. Is this part in stock, is it the same # or a replacement #. I orders some firewall groment kit and what I order and what I got where 2 different things. Now granted I was ordering out of an old catalog. However I would have appreciated them saying "That # is no longer available we are now useing this #". This being said I would still buy parts from them but I will ask some questions when I do.

Oh... what good is it if they don't sell 40 stuff???
