| | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 77 Member | | Member Joined: May 2003 Posts: 77 | This is sort of embarassing but I've got the 71 C-10 ready to go and just realised I've forgot to put the front sway bar back on! :o (I thought it had a lot more "lean" in the corners than before when I took it out for a spin the other day)!
Now I go to put it on today and it seems too short! :confused: I'm talking front to back, from where it attaches to the a-arms to where it attaches to the frame rails. It doesn't come close to reaching far enough forward to reach the mounting holes in the frame, about 3-4 inches! Can anyone help me out here? Am I missing something?
Man, this only shows that it's been way too long since I took this thing apart! :o & :confused:

I see now what the problem is. Some faint little spark in the back of my increasingly failing memory told me there were some extra brackets attached to the frame rails, that's what I'm missing! Now all I got to do is figure out where I put them! :confused:  I guess it serves me right for sitting this project aside for a year after having it about 75% done! Well, at least now I now what I'll be doing today! :rolleyes: Thanks again!

I just bought 2 when I added a sway bar to mine. They were not very expensive.
