Dad's truck sounds like the way to go. And besides, you'll make him feel good by helping you stay safe and get that prize home in good fashion. As a dad myself who lends his 1-ton CumminsBolt horse hauler out to his daughter and son-in-law now and then ... make sure you return the truck washed and with a full tank of diesel fuel, too -- he'll really appreciate that. I'm sure you were going to do that anyway (this note is for all the others who are reading this ...)
