| | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 | i have ordered the spray glue that horvath recomended so i can insulate the 54. what can i use to cut down the noise from the engine. like a under hood pad. also will the cast aluminum valve covers help with this? i can't do anything with the floor and back wall til i move the gas tank. i plan to use the water heater jacket on the fire wall. ron

| | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 19 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 19 | I had the same problem. I ended up spraying the underside w/paintable undercoat & painted it blk. Alum valve covers do not help w/noise. The plastic ones are better at noise control.
