Has anyone done this swap? Both v-8 and 6 cyl engines were available in the fifties . I realize some may think the drive train is not strong enough . Motor mounts are available. This is a serious inquiry ! Much Oblige . 50 chevy 3100.

Just my opinion, but I would swap out the tranny and differential with an open driveline.
