What is the theory and dimensions for drilling and countersinking the right side main bed attach bolts with ecentric washers on the 1965 Fleetside SWB?
Thanks,
Mike

Check Mar-K's website. I have seen a tech article there before. Additionally, I believe the theory behind the offset hole in the bed mounting washers is to keep it from spinning when tightening the nut from below. The bolt has a carriage head with a square shoulder, however the bolt and washer will spin when tightened, if not for the offset hole and the mortise of the washer to set flush with the surface of the bed wood. Best of luck with your wood replacement.

Now that is what I was looking for.
A few days too late, but what I did will work.
I'll post when I get it done.
Thanks,
MIke

I countersunk my washers and bolts with a paddle bit then had my 11 year old son sit in the bed with a box wrench while I tightened them up from below.

It worked well. Gave us a little father/son time.
