| | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 1,586 Extreme Gabster | Extreme Gabster Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 1,586 | If you want to do a good job for little bucks,Buy two spring perches or saddles from any speed shop, Jegs or Summit online or A Mopar dealer can get them for from the Mopar performance catalog ,about 15 bucks.Your local spring shop can fix you up with U-bolts for another25- 35 bucks.S10 lower plate works out well, just enlongate the U bolt holes slightly, and it even has a shock mount. Don't forget to mock up the rear axle and fenders,moving the axle back an inch or so gets the tire centered in the fender opening.Just drill a new center bolt hole in the spring perch. | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,440 Extreme Gabster | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,440 | You also have to be sure your driveline geometry is correct. The pinion shaft must be parallel to the transmission shaft within a few degrees.
