Hey Guys, That truck(?) is for sale on Ebay right now. I was cruising through the Collectors car sections under Chevy / pickups and ran across that rig. I personally think that it would have looked better with a single rear axle, but thats the way the military frame was set up. I am used to a top speed of 45 mph anyway. Cool!

Man! That thing is cool. What do you suppose the gas mileage is like?

You know what they say, Bill -- If you have to ask, you can't afford it!

Why did they put a gas motor in running gear like that?? Half your torque just goes into spinning all that weight around inside the transfer cases and doesn't even make it to the wheels. Talk about in efficient. I think it would be more cool with a Detroit 671, dual chrome stacks and a big ole air cleaner on the side.

Gas V8s -- yawn.

grin

Truck motor. Smaller bore, taller deck. Not something you'd want.
