For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 63 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 63 | Hey all In the floor right to the rear of the seat on the drivers side is a spot where the wires for the rear wiring harness goes from the dash out and under to the rear. The floor is sunk in there and there's a screw hole.....Does this have a cover plate? It really looks like it does, I'll post pics so you all can see....and if there is, anyone have one they'd sell! thanks
-Danny

but it looks like a custom job
makeing a cover wouldnt be to difficult about 4"x4" square of sheet metal with two bends one to slip under the rocker sill and the other for the screw to hold
or by the look of it if it come out from under the rocker sill you could just unscrew the sill and stuff it under as i guess the is room
but from the picture it doesnt look like it goes to anything in the cab in that area you could just pull them under the cab and have it connected under with out it being in the cab

Thanks,as always -Danny

According to the 1960-1966 Chev/GMC truck factory assembly instruction manual on page 125 and 128 (I numbered the pages on mine starting with 1 on the page that identifies 1953 thru 1959 vehicle serial number identification [not sure why that is in this manual]). | | |
