Something I noticed last fall but should attend to this spring. I replaced the old master with a brand new one. However, after a summer of joy riding, noticed that I am losing brake fluid from around the rubber sleeve. Just a slow drip now and again so far. Any ideas what the cause is?

It sounds like there is fluid leaking past the piston. It definitely needs to be rebuilt. A leak is one thing but a total failure is another and I would be expecting it anytime.
