I have a 51 chev truck. I'm finishing a 327 installation and don't know the configuration of the p/s pump and alt brackets and location. does anyone have a pic they could send me to help. I have a bucket of brackets and need a visual. thanks

You're building a hot rod. You can put the brackets and the devices anywhere you want to. No need to stay with the "stock" configuration (which many times won't work anyway.)

If you look at the various vendors, you'll find brackets that will work, but you can also just grab some from a junk yard and put them on. Just make sure the belts line up and there's room to work around things.

They look like they would work... but who has that much room above the block to mount the Alt that high? Im sure they could be just the ticket on some trucks with headers and what not, but i dont think theyd work for most people.
