I've got a new guy question regarding the glovebox on my recently acquired '62 fleetside 4x4. The interior was mostly disassembled when I got the truck. The good news is that most of what I've needed has been in the parts that came in the bed of the truck. The bad news is that I don't know what I don't have. Does anyone have (or could take) some good pics showing how the glovebox goes together with the parts that are required? Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend drugs, alcohol, and violence to anyone...but they've worked well for me.

welcome to the garage kc - best bet for that sorta thing is to stock up on vendor catalogs and get an assembly manual for your series ... the glovebox is pretty straight forward, door, liner box, latch, screws to hold it all in place - you'll find pics of the parts in most catalogs

Thanks Bill. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate anyone (any vendor) that sells the hinge for a '62. For that reason, I figured that I must be missing something as far as what parts I actually need. Are the glovebox parts interchangable with 64-66 trucks?
