For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 1,271 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2003 Posts: 1,271 | I sprung $67.00 and bought new arm rests from Classic Parts ... got 'em and installed 'em today -- they're nicer than I thought they would be, too -- I'm glad I did it! They cleaned up very nicely, were repainted, and scubbed by Dennis. The truck had none that i could see, so this will be a great improvement. | | | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 1,271 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2003 Posts: 1,271 | They're nice to have. I drove around for 3 years with no pull handle (arm rest) on the passenger side and on the driver side I had one I started fabricating out of wood -- it was cool, but I never found the time to work on covering it, and resting my elbow on hard wood was something I'm happy to be done with.

I put aftermarket armrests in mine as well... one of the best things I did. More comfortable driving and less stress on the door handle from pulling the door closed. | | |
