For the 1949 Suburban there is an accessory, RPO 361 F , "Genuine Leather Trim". Does anyone have factual information about what this was?

Thanks

evergreenw,

From the 1949 and 1950 Truck Data Book for Chevrolet Salesmen:

RPO No. 361 - Genuine Leather Trim (1949)

The fine appearance and long-lasting qualities of leather are available for seat cushions and seat backs.
