Q: Does the 3 speed supply oil to the universal joint simply by being at a slight angle?
My tranny is removed and sitting level at the moment. If tilted it will proceed to spill it's guts. My guess is that the oil is retained by the seal around the propeller shaft inside the torque tube. I'm planning on replacing this seal, however, the stud that is used to retain it cannot be located.
Any words of wisdom?
