Quick Refresher. What is the difference between an intergral (sp) and non intergral head on a 250 (out of a 67 - 72 ? Casting number3994257)?

Can anyone identify what this engine id is from - F0708TPW
F - Flint
07 - July
08 - Day of month
TPW - ??????

Thanks in advance,
Kurt

Integral head has the intake manifold cast with the head. Your block casting number 3994257 shows as a 67-72 250. Info from Butlers Motors

The difference? Enough horsepower to matter! Keep that non-integral head and get some nice headers... smile
