Does anyone have any advice on one piece headliners that they have been happy with? I was looking at the headliners from chevy duty and brothers and they are advertised about the same, but are about $50 different in price. Just hoping that folks have some experience to share with the one piece headliners. Thanks

I haven't had any experiance with 1 piece headliners, but there are others on here that have. I plan on putting one on my 52 in the near future. I imagine that the headliner from CD and the one from Brothers are of the same quality, it's just that one of them costs more. Good luck on your truck.

I don't know about the 1 piece headliners out there. I plan on making my own. My truck already has a home-made (probably a Texas pro did it) one-piece headliner in that looks pretty nice. When I take that out, I'm gonna look at how it was made and mock up my own.
I also plan on adding a shelf of some sort across the top of the windshield area ... I don't have sun visors there and after 3 years of driving my truck daily, I've never needed a sun visor! That surprises me, but I guess it's because my windshield is tinted at the top and does a great job. I think a shelf up there would be great for tossing stuff ... ciggies, notepad and pen, etc.

The fit was crap and I sent it back. Bitter experience has taught me that all after-market stuff for these trucks is crap.
Best to make your own headliner or have an upholsterer do it. Find one who's retired and likes to keep his hand in. | | |
