I posted this on General Truck Talk but did not get any responses. Perhaps I should have initially posted it here. Anyway, the regulators in my '50 AD 1/2 ton are "toast". I either want to replace them with reproduction ones or go to power windows. I would prefer to stay stock, but I don't want to install reproduction regulators only to have trouble with them down the road. I am looking for a permanent fix or as close to one as possible. I would really appreciate input as to the quality and function of reproduction regulators. Thanks

My truck has one original regulator, and one repro one. I assume it is repro as it is new, but was on when I bought the truck. Anyway, the point is, both work the same. No problems here with the repro one.
