for the clutch pedal on my 551st there was another metal plate clamped to the pedal with the remains of an old rubber pad. Just wondering why it was there. If it is stock or what? I unscrewed it took it off and it's looks like the brake pedal and my new rubber pad fit.
I ordered this part a while back and forgot about it since it was only a buck or two. My neighbor was walking her dog down the street and found my ripped open envelope from chevy duty and no pad. I figured the thief would not get much money for a clutch/brake pad and guessed he would toss it and that's what he did. Years of caddying finally paid off and I found it in a leaf pile. The good news is the guy was caught a week later and went straight to jail.
