I am beginning a restoration on a very solid, complete 49 Suburban. The floor in the rear is covered with a ribbed rubber mat. I know this is correct but cannot find a replacement material at any of the usual candidates on the Web.

Does anyone have any leads?

Thanks
Alan

Alan,

If the 1949's rear floor mat (linoleum) is a brownish color (rather than black), Battleship Linoleum used to have the brown in the correct thickness. You would have to machine/route the grooves into the mat (they can provide an article describing how to do it).
