I'm looking for a source for the Deluxe upholstery materials for my 55 1st series GMC Suburban. I heard a place in Portland, OR has it but I don't know the name. ANY help is appreciated!

That would probably be SMS. (503)234-1175. Their website: smsautofabrics.com . You could send them an email but I've never had much luck with them responding to them. Ask for Doug Pollack. Better if you have a sample of the fabric you need also.

Thanks for the SMS tip. It seems this is the place to go. I've been told they do have the pattern and color I'm looking for. Only problem is just about everyone says their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. HMMM. I guess I'll try my luck and hope for the best!

Thanks again.

Who knew that there was an interior section on Stovebolt?!! Wow. Never been here until YellowSub referred to this in the Paint & Body!

Pfffft. Go figure.

Yeah, me too! I'm looking, looking........ Oh there it is down at the bottom!
Anyway, Doug tries real hard. It's best if you're not in a hurry. These guys have a couple of warehouses, unfortunately they're on opposite sides of the country! They CREATED a vinyl for my '61 using new material and old patterns. It has the heat seamed pattens and is correct. Took a while but I like it. Price was reasonable to me.
