Any thoughts for doing this right? I can have upolsterer apply a thin vinyl or maybe I'll cover with a wall paper in close like finish. The apolsterer cut new cardboard from the old panels and covered it with a foam headliner material with a finish on the outside. Look here

The material pulled from the restoration is definately faux leather finish.
