Where does the door/dovetail rub bumper stops go on the doors (46)? Also where does the 4 round rub bumpers go on the doors? Thanks | | | | | Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 | 46Metal- I haven't got quite that far putting mine back together yet but I think I may be able to help some. The "dovetail" bumpers go in slots in the door jam (the latch side) one up toward the top and the other toward the bottom. They just slide in. Now if I remember right the round ones go on the jam on the fromt of the door. One upper and one lower. They are held on with a screw. Someone else may be able to give you the exact screw hole to use I just can't remember right now. This will get you close, I'm sure others will chime in. Each door has two dovetail bumpers.(right)? Do they fit where the door latch lockes to the post of the cab. Looks like their is two screws holding a bracket to the door frame? I checked for some holes for the round bumpers and I don't have any on the doors. Pictures would help if anyone has any. Thanks | | |
