The window components are original and heavily worn , so replacement seems in order rather than repair. I’ve read that some repros need tooling and adjustment to work properly , and I wish to avoid that. What is the best source for a window regulator for my truck? If you can still feel the regulator moving inside the door, then it may just need a new roller and rivet. LINK The original ones are some kind of fabric based material and disintegrate over the many years till all that's left is the rivet, which can slip out of the channel.
