Who knows of a decent machine shop in the Denver area ?

I used one off Pecos/56th ( I think, that area anyway) years ago.
Did good work on my Jeep Grand Cherokee heads.
Then years later I took my Isuzu heads in - appeared to be new management, but I thought - why not.
Only wanted valves done - they milled heads so they could charge more. I said I didn't ask for that. "oh well, what are you gonna do ?"
So obviously not going back there- have a 235 head needing checked - once it's off block.

dbwr - It's been decades since I lived and worked in the Denver and Colorado springs area (think back to the mid 1980's - lol).

Remembering the area though, I thought I'd do a bit of web snooping and found a place called "Heads by Drew" that has nothing but great reviews and some customers noting doing business with him 20+ years previously and the guy still remembered them.

He's located in the Aurora area, near what's now known as "Buckley Space Force Base", but what I remember as Buckley Air National Guard Base back in my day.

His contact info is in the screenshot below. No web site, just a phone number and business address. Hint, such is often a sign of an old school business that just gets it done IMHO. wink

Can't hurt to give them a call and check 'em out.

If you do, please come back and let folks know how things worked out as it's helpful for others who might be in the same place as you are.
