Just doing some planning for one of my winter projects. I'd like to get the heater and defroster fans running. So, I have a couple voltage reducers since I changed over to 12v, but my fan motors are still 6v (If I can't get the fans to work, I'll try swapping to 12v fans) - but for now I'd like to try to use the 6v fans. My plan is to run a HOT wire to the voltage reducer, then to the heater switch and then to the fan. But my old photos show a flipper switch and round knob switch. What is the round knob switch? It just clicks once when turning it left and right. Maybe it gives my fans two speeds? If so, should I then wire HOT to voltage reducer, then to flipper switch, then round knob switch and then to fan?
