The top column hinge doesn't seem to allow the extra 1/8th+ inch to prevent the door from hitting the striker plate. I think i need to free the column top hinge up some.
Any suggestions appreciated :^)

What is limiting the adjustment? If its the bolts that hold the door to the hinge can you elongate the slots in the hinge arm to allow additional movement?

How does the front edge of the door relate to the cowl of the cab, excess gap would confirm the door needs to move forward but if no then the problem is in the door itself (unless the door opening was modified during previous body work).

How does the door belt line up with the body (both front and back)? Some pictures of the door gaps would help us suggest a solution.

I second Phil's suggestion of pictures.

We definitely need a better description of the issue. THEN we can be of more help.

When I got to installing the passenger door on my reconstructed cab (new rocker panels) I discovered some interference at the top corner, as well as at the rear lower edge. It seems I didn't maintain the proper distance between the Hinge pillar and the stricker pillar. It took some grinding and welding on the door edges to correct the door fit.

Has this door ever closed properly?
