My 53 3100 is a "bitsa" truck. Huck brakes in the rear. Bendix on the front. What I was not thinking about was the wiper arms. Until I had one come off driving home in the rain. Fortunately it was the passenger side. Where it went at 40 I shall never know. So, I ordered both right and left just to be safe. From LMC so not a cheap set. Surprise, they were too small. Not even close to fitting. There was a change in the arms for different wiper blades. So I just figured I would order for a newer year. A pair of 54 came and.....they won't fit either. They do hold the newer wiper blades so that part was OK. Would the wiper arm mechanism from a 55 fit under the dash? Is that what I have? Confused in Utah. Thanks for any help you might offer. Steve.
